What is Artists of the Way all about?
Great art reveals the truth about the brokenness of the world as well as the beauty that fights its way through and points to God. As people come together to create these truths become difficult to ignore. Deep and distant spiritual realities suddenly feel close, and doors open in artists’ hearts and minds that few other experiences unlock. Our goal is to recognize these open doors and help artists engage with these deeper truths. God is uniquely active in these spaces and we want to join Him in this redemptive work.

Challenging and Redemptive Theatrical Productions
We work with artists to create polished productions which reflect truth and beauty. These stories can range from the painful and challenging to the joyful and comedic, but all are crafted with great spiritual care, and from a perspective grounded in Christ. Through these works we aim to serve our community, bring the light of Christ into dark places, and create art that forms us all, artist and audience alike, into His image.
The Artists of the Way Podcast
Join us for thoughtful conversations about the intersection of art and the Christian faith, hosted by our Executive Director Jon Wilson, and his friend and colleague Nate Knobloch. Tune in every other week for engaging interviews and thought-provoking discussions.
Cultivate: A Faith and Performing Arts Conference
Cultivate is a yearly conference for performing artists built by leaders in Christian Theatre in West Michigan. With workshops led by instructors from Michigan and beyond, we seek to equip and edify artists, and refine both their craft and their spiritual life.
